Martin N. Olsen

Martin ("Marty") Olsen received his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah Law School in 1991.  Following graduation from law school, he clerked for Leonard H. Russon at the Utah Court of Appeals for two years; following which, Marty went to work for the Utah State Office of Guardian Ad Litem, representing abused and neglected children in permanency proceedings and children in high conflict divorce cases.  During his professional career, Marty has been active in the American Bar Association and Utah State Bar.  He served as the Utah State Bar Young Lawyer's President from 1995 to 1996 and subsequently served on the American Bar Association's Board of Governor's from 2000 to 2003.  Marty also served as Chair of the ABA's National Steering Committee on the Unmet Legal Needs of Children from August 2004 to July 2006, during which time he traversed the country presenting the Committee's work America's Children Still at Risk.  He has received local and national accolades for his work with children in the law, including Utah State Bar Young Lawyer of the Year and the American Bar Association's National Child Advocate of the Year Award.  He has also been recognized by his peers as Legal Elite in family law practice for the past ten years.  Marty has also volunteered at Primary Children’s Hospital Life Unit for 18 years, served as a Wish Granter with Make-a-Wish Foundation, served as a mentor with the Village Project, and volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Marty has been a Partner at Olsen & Olsen Law since 1995 specializing in family law and private guardian ad litem work.

Matthew N. Olsen

Matthew received his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa Law School in December 1983. Matthew has been a Partner at Olsen & Olsen Law for 30 years, specializing in family law, criminal law, wills and estates, probate, business formation, and civil litigation. Matthew has served as a mentor under the New Lawyer Program and has also served as a part-time prosecutor in several of the local communities. Matthew has spent numerous years speaking to and assisting single mothers at local schools in understanding their legal rights and concerns.

M. Tyler Olsen

M. Tyler Olsen received his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa in 2008. Tyler completed an internship with the Honorable Dana Kuehn with the District Court in Oklahoma and the Honorable Jane Wiseman with the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals. Tyler has been an associate with Olsen & Olsen Law since 2009. Tyler assists clients in the areas of family law, wills and estates and other general areas of practice. Tyler speaks fluent Spanish.
